The Ann Arbor Art Fair DO is a long-running event where a lot old-timers gather to talk about points and miles, see a bit of the city, and have fun. This year, the Ann Arbor Do takes place on July 22 – 23. I’ve been invited by the event’s organizer, Dave (aka Bikeguy) to speak about my experience volunteering in the refugee camps of Calais and Thessaloniki.
The whole thing is pretty informal. Anyone can attend, as long as you give them a heads up on FlyerTalk. There will also be a second speaker, who has not yet been confirmed.
Other activities on the agenda so far include a best tips contest, dinner, Sunday brunch, and a walking tour of Ann Arbor. There is no registration fee to attend the Ann Arbor Art Fair DO. If you choose to attend the dinner or brunch over the weekend, you’ll have to pay for your meal.
I will definitely be at the event on Saturday to speak. However, I may have to bow out early on Sunday. As I’ve said, I’m supposed to start a new job in a couple of weeks and will need to be at work Monday morning. So we’ll see how late of a departure I can pull off.
