I’ve been blogging for about two months now and am amazed at how fast things have taken off. Shortly after launching, I was offered a spot on Million Mile Secrets’ weekly interview series. After the interview was published, I was asked to guest blog on Frugal Travel Guy. The editor liked my trip report on Afghanistan and suggested I do something similar. I was told the story would be published on FlyerTalk this weekend. I certainly didn’t expect a very prominent spot.
Suffice it to say, I was stunned to see my post boldly featured on the upper left side of the page. The image is linked to the actual post on the FTG website. This is a very proud moment for me and I’m so thankful to Internet Brands and FTG for giving me this opportunity. I learned about this world a year ago and to now have my writing featured on the points and miles community’s foremost gathering place, is exciting.
I want to welcome all newcomers and thank my regular readers for their support. When I started this back in September, I was just happy to have a place to store my point database and share my obsession with friends and family. That I now get to share my wonderful trip memories with all of you and get such positive feedback, is the most rewarding part for me.
