Points and miles beginner’s guide: Insurance quotes and purchase bonuses

Once a year, you can earn bonus points for requesting an insurance quote from one of the companies listed below. If you decide to purchase a policy, you can earn even more miles!

As with any point-earning activity, I suggest you take screenshots throughout the process in case your points don’t post and you need to provide proof of activity. This is especially important if you end up making a purchase.

@ Dean, yes that makes them off limits to most of us. Thankfully, there are others on this list we can choose from.

Don’t bother if you are looking for miles from Sentry and you live in MN.
Received the message below in my email:
“Thank you for your interest in Sentry Insurance. We apologize, Sentry has recently reorganized our sales staff and currently does not have anyone in your area to issue you a new policy.”

@ Allen, thanks for the heads up. That is strange, considering the offer page lists MN as an eligible state. Did they at least credit the points to your account?

Not yet 🙁 But it might be too early to tell.

Points are supposed to post within 6-8 weeks. I recommend you take a screenshot of the offer page and if the points don’t post, reach out to Sentry.
