Starting at 12:00 AM (CT) tonight, RocketMiles is running a 24-hour double miles promotion on all hotel bookings.
For those unfamiliar with RocketMiles, it’s a booking site that offers frequent flyer miles on hotel bookings. If you have an upcoming trip, this is a great way to double up on miles.
The rates featured on RocketMiles are on par with what is offered by other booking sites. You can choose different room categories, though the payout remains the same – an average of 3,500 points per night.
I did a sample search for hotels in Maui from June 15-20 and came across some decent options. The Ritz Carlton Kapalua is going for $375/night and offers a total payout of 23,000 MileagePlus Miles. With the double miles promotion, the points will double to a whopping 46,000 miles! This is enough for a RT west coast flight to Maui. Keep in mind, though, that this rate and payout may change.
Booking through RocketMiles makes sense if you’re booking a boutique hotel or can manage to get a high payout that outweighs the miles/elite qualifying nights you’re foregoing.
