IHG Rewards Club has a lot going on in terms of year-end promotions. Whether you’re in the market to buy points, gift cards, discounted hotel stays or participate in promotions, there’s something for everyone. Below is a round-up of current promotions:

IHG Priceless Surprises Promotion

Through February 15, 2016 IHG Rewards Club members can earn a minimum of 47,000 points by participating in Priceless Surprises via mail entries. Fill out a 3 x 5 card with your full name, complete mailing address, day and evening phone numbers, valid email address, member number, the first six (6) digits of your MasterCard and date of birth. Mail it to the following address and receive a minimum of 500 IHG points per entry (for up to 94 entries):

Paul from Island Traveler spoke to IHG and HelloWorld and they informed him everything has to be hand-written – including the envelopes. However, that’s not specified in the terms so I would think you can get away with using mailing labels. Proceed with caution on this one.

100% Bonus on IHG Rewards Club Points Purchases (Through November 30, 2015)

Through November 20, IHG Rewards Club is offering a 100% bonus on purchased points. The minimum amount is 1,000 points while the maximum is 60,000 points. If you’re looking to top off your IHG account for an award stay, this is a pretty solid deal.

• 1,000 – 10,000 points for $13.50 per 1,000 points
• 11,000 – 25,000 points for $12.50 per 1,000 points
• 26,000 – 60,000 points for $11.50 per 1,000 points

IHG Rewards Club Catalog Sale (Through November 30, 2015)

Generally, using points for anything other than hotel stays isn’t the best value, but I know some people get value out out of their IHG points by redeeming them for items form the IHG Rewards Club redemption catalog. I once met a PR rep who used her points to buy a washing machine. That’s because as an employee of the company, she gets tons of free nights anyway. So instead she wanted to save $500 on a new washer by using her IHG points. In any case, through November 30 the IHG Rewards Club catalog is offering a 15% discount on gift card and product redemptions. Based on manufactured spending rates, I haven’t seen anything in the catalog that I’d personally consider a good value, but you might. Be sure to share with us in the comment section.

New Items Up for Bid at IHG Rewards Club Auctions

IHG Rewards Club Auctions are similar to SPG Moments and at the moment, members can bid on tickets to see the New York City Ballet’s The Nutcracker, and a VIP weekend at the Venetian in Las Vegas. Some of these auctions are ending as early as today, but new items will be added through mid-December. So be sure to check out IHG Rewards Club Auctions for anything you might want to redeem your IHG points for.
