Points and Miles Beginner’s Guide

#6. Insurance Quotes and Purchase Bonuses

Once a year, you can earn bonus points for requesting an insurance quote from one of the companies listed below. If you decide to purchase a policy, you can earn even more miles! As with any point-earning activity, I suggest you take screenshots throughout the process in case your points don’t post and you need to provide proof of activity. This is especially important if you end up making a purchase.

@ Dean, yes that makes them off limits to most of us. Thankfully, there are others on this list we can choose from.

    • Don’t bother if you are looking for miles from Sentry and you live in MN.
Received the message below in my email:
“Thank you for your interest in Sentry Insurance. We apologize, Sentry has recently reorganized our sales staff and currently does not have anyone in your area to issue you a new policy.”

      • @ Allen, thanks for the heads up. That is strange, considering the offer page lists MN as an eligible state. Did they at least credit the points to your account?
