Hyatt All Inclusive Resorts: 50% Off + 5th Night Free

50% off + 5th Night Free with Hyatt

50% off + 5th Night Free with Hyatt

Hyatt is offering deeply discounted rates at their all-inclusive resorts in Mexico and Jamaica. Gold Passport members who book a five night stay in a standard room by December 31, 2014 will get 50% off the Hyatt Daily rate, along with the fifth night free. The stay period varies by property but is pretty extensive, running into next year:

Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall Montego Bay, Jamaica

Stay: November 23, 2014 – November 5, 2015

Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall Montego Bay, Jamaica

Stay: November 23, 2014 – November 5, 2015

Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

Stay: January 1, 2015 – November 5, 2015

Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos, Mexico (Reopening in 2015)

Stay: April 30, 2015 – November 5, 2015

Hyatt Zilara Cancun, Mexico (Reopening in 2015)

Stay: January 3, 2015 – October 1, 2015

To book these heavily discounted rates, enter ZZ5FRE into the Special Offer Code box before searching. There are a limited number of rooms available under these discounted rates. However, if you can’t manage to book one of them under this promotion, Hyatt also offers a Grand Opening Rate with fewer capacity restrictions and a generous 50% off the Daily Rate.

During opening week at the Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall, the Hyatt Daily Rate is around $752 per night. The promotion is not available, though if it were, the rate would be discounted to $300 per night before taxes, factoring in the 5th night free. The Grand Opening rate that same week is around $339 per night. Slightly higher, but still more than 50% off the Daily Rate. The Grand Opening rate is available all the way through November 2015, sometimes dropping as low as $370 per night at the Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall in October.

The lowest double occupancy rate I found for the Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta and Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos was $290 per night on various dates in June, which is perfect for a summer vacation. Summer rates at the Hyatt Zilara Cancun hover around $360 per night.

If you’re wondering what the difference is between Ziva and Zilara resorts, Zilara is adults only while Ziva welcomes guests of all ages. This is important to note, for those who may be planning a family vacation or looking to avoid them. As for the amenities provided at these all-inclusive resorts, Hyatt describes them as follows:

  • Fine dining options at à la carté and gourmet buffet restaurants
  • 24-hour in-suite dining
  • Unlimited top-shelf alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Live entertainment
  • Locally inspired daily and nightly activities
  • Athletic courts, fitness center, spectacular pools and kid’s areas (at Hyatt Ziva)
  • Wi-Fi internet access

As for getting to Mexico or the Caribbean on points, AAdvantage miles are the best way to go if you’re fine with plain old economy class. It takes 35,000 miles round-trip, or just 25,000 for an off-peak flight if you’re willing to travel between September 7 – November 14. You can also use your US Airways Dividend Miles to book these flights. The mileage requirements are the same, though off-peak travel is restricted to September 1 – 30, 2014.

This is a great promotion if you’re looking for a great deal on an all-inclusive resort and have some Arrival Miles to spare for it. If you complete your stay by November 30, you can even bank some extra points thanks to Hyatt’s current bonus point promotion.
